| Legal Disclaimers - Data loss is sometimes unavoidable. While we'll do our best to prevent it, Small Business Technologies will not be held liable for the loss of any data while either on-site at your location or while in the possession of a client's computer.
- A lot of variables can go into amount of time it takes to repair a computer. An older computer that's not as fast as today's technology can take a lot longer to install an operating system. Sometimes a troublesome virus infection can take longer than normal to remove. While we'll do our best to give you the best estimate possible, please note that estimates are subject to change. Small Business Technologies will a) always contact our customers and inform them of the increase costs on any estimate, and b) will ask permission to perform the work necessary before doing it.
- Small Business Technologies is dedicated to our customer's complete satisfaction. Customers have the right to terminate any work at any time. Customer will only be billed for work performed and materials used up to the point of termination of service.
- Small Business Technologies reserves the right to adjust rates for any work prior to it being quoted to the customer. This can include charging flat rates for certain types of work. Small Business Technologies will always provide our customers with this information in any quotes and proposals.
- Small Business Technologies guarantees all labor for fifteen (15) days. Small Business Technologies will not be responsible for any claims on labor due to customer error or misuse of a system or it's components or any issues discovered outside the scope of the services provided to the customer.
- Small Business Technologies does not provide any guarantee on any hardware components. If issues are discovered while Small Business Technologies is on-site or in the possession of a customers computer, Small Business Technologies will inform the customer if the issue and will work with the retailer to exchange the defective item.
- If a customer discovers or experiences a problem with any installed components within fifteen (15) days of completion of work, Small Business Technologies will replace the defective component at no charge.
- If a customer discovers an issue with an installed component after fifteen (15) days, Small Business Technologies will charge normal labor rates.
- Customers will be provided with all receipts for all hardware components and will need to address any defective products with the retailer at which they were purchased and the retailers' return policies. If issues are discovered with any components outside the retailers' policies, the customer will have to contact the product manufacturer and file a warranty claim.
- Payments made by check to Small Business Technologies that are not honored by the bank will incur a returned check fee of $30 or five percent (5%) of the check amount, which ever is greater. Returned check reimbursements must be paid in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order.
